Job summary

Slough Borough Council is seeking a Business Partner to join the Corporate Services Directorate. You will help transform workforce strategies into practical actions, embedding people practices that deliver results for teams and the community.

Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, you will lead impactful initiatives, support wellbeing, and contribute to a culture of development and success across the council.

Job description


  • Directorate: Corporate Services

  • Pay Level:7, £43,253(inclusive annual allowance)The salary is reviewed yearly and subject to satisfactory performance is increased in line with national pay awards.

  • Contract Type: Permanent

  • Working Hours: 37 Hours a week

  • Location: Observatory House/ Slough Hybrid (minimum 2 days per week in the office)

  • DBS requirement: Basic

Annual increments, where applicable, are usually payable on 1st April each year, subject to six months service in the post, until the maximum spinal column point of the level has been reached. The payment of annual increments is not automatic and is subject to satisfactory performance as assessed by your director.
