Job summary

Slough Borough Council is seeking a Business Partner within Corporate Services. The role focuses on turning workforce strategies into practical actions, embedding forward-thinking people practices to benefit teams and the wider community.

Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner, you will lead initiatives that promote organisational success and employee wellbeing, with hybrid working and a minimum in-office presence.

Job description

  • Directorate: Corporate Services
  • Pay Level: 7, £43,253 (inclusive annual allowance) The salary is reviewed yearly and subject to satisfactory performance is increased in line with national pay awards.
  • Contract Type: Permanent
  • Working Hours: 37 Hours a week
  • Location: Observatory House/ Slough Hybrid (minimum 2 days per week in the office)
  • DBS requirement: Basic

The Interviews will be held on a Wednesday morning. The dates (i.e. which Wednesday) will be confirmed for shortlisted candidates.

Annual increments, where applicable, are usually payable on 1st April each year, subject to six months service in the post, until the maximum spinal column point of the level has been reached. The payment of annual increments is not automatic and is subject to satisfactory performance as assessed by your director.
