Job summary

ESSENTIAL EMPLOYMENT LTD is seeking a temporary HR adviser in the East Midlands to deliver confident, proactive HR guidance on sickness absence and employee relations. You will manage cases end-to-end and partner with HR Operations, the HR BP network, Health Safety and Wellbeing, and Legal Services.

Strong influencing, communication and a data-informed approach are essential to drive improvements while aligning with employment law and organisational policy. Pre-employment checks may apply.

Qualifications

• Deliver confident, proactive and solutions-focused HR advice.
• Manage sickness absence and employee relations policy and practice end-to-end.
• Collaborate across HR Operations, HR Business Partner network, Health Safety and Wellbeing and Legal Services.

Responsibilities

• Progress complex ER and attendance matters, contributing to Appeals and Employment Tribunal processes when required.
• Provide clear, consistent guidance to managers in line with employment legislation and organisational policy.
• Support the review, development and delivery of employment policies, coaching and training to strengthen people management capability.
