Job Description

The Human Resources Development and Engagement Specialist will play a key role in creating and executing comprehensive development programs to enhance the HR Partner onboarding experience, ensuring efficient integration and success. This role will focus on developing associate skills, coaching for improved performance, conducting various associate trainings, fostering career progression to increase retention, and building a talent pipeline, all aligned with the company's strategic objectives. It requires a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution, including conducting training needs assessments, gap analyses, and professional development planning for HR Partners across the portfolio.

This is a Hybrid Position. Must live within a commutable distance to our Home Office in Carlsbad, California, and attend in-person meetings. Travel is required.

Daily Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage onboarding and training for new HR Partners.
2. Train HR associates on compliance with state and federal employment laws.
3. Manage the HR Career Path Program and develop a talent pipeline within the portfolio.
4. Mentor and coach HR Partners.

Special Requirements and/or Certifications:

• Preferred certifications include PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP.
