Job summary

Northamptonshire Police is seeking an analytical Management Information Officer to join the Workforce Planning team. You will manage, analyse and interpret workforce data to support priorities and operational effectiveness, handling large datasets, ensuring data quality and producing insightful reports and dashboards.

Working with senior leaders, you will identify trends, risks and opportunities, provide evidence-based recommendations, support business change, and ensure GDPR and information

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in Management Information, HR, Workforce Planning or Data Analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and charts.
• Experience extracting data from management information systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to present findings clearly to stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage priorities.
• Commitment to data integrity and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Produce and develop HR management information, reports and dashboards.
• Analyse workforce trends, risks and opportunities to support decisions.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of HR data.
• Support change and improvement projects through business analysis.
