Job summary

North Yorkshire Police is seeking a Resource Management Officer (Staff) based at Police Headquarters in Northallerton. The role involves preparing duties and distributing personnel to meet operational cover across the Force area, with a permanent full-time contract (37 hours per week).

The successful candidate will have strong IT skills, experience in staffing and rostering, and the ability to communicate professionally at all levels within the organisation.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to plan and organise workload effectively.
• Excellent IT proficiency, especially with Microsoft 365 apps.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and plan duties for officers and staff, managing short notice staffing.
• Resource officers and staff for specific operations and events.
• Allocate personnel to training courses while maintaining cover.
• Undertake data quality checks and investigate issues.
• Provide guidance on Police Regulations and terms and conditions.
