Job summary

Macmillan Davies is seeking an experienced HR Systems & Data Analyst to support and improve HR systems, data quality and reporting for a global organisation. The role is based in Manchester or Leeds with hybrid working and a salary of £45,000 - £50,000 per annum.

You will maintain HR systems, perform data audits, and deliver recurring and ad hoc HR reports. Strong Excel, HRIS experience and stakeholder management are essential to success in this varied role.

Qualifications

We are working on behalf of a global leading organisation seeking an experienced HR Systems & Data Analyst to support and improve HR systems, data quality and reporting.

Main duties include:

• Support and maintain HR systems, including system changes, testing, upgrades and improvements.
• Investigate and resolve HR systems, process and data issues.
• Maintain data accuracy through audits, validation and reconciliation.
• Produce recurring and ad hoc HR reports and management information.
• Use advanced Excel to analyse, cleanse and reconcile large HR datasets.
• Develop and maintain reports, dashboards and reporting processes.
• Identify opportunities to improve and automate HR processes.
• Work closely with HR, Payroll, IT and external suppliers to deliver effective systems and reporting solutions.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Proven experience supporting or administering an HRIS/HR system.
• Strong understanding of HR processes, systems and data.
• Experience with HR systems testing changes and implementations.
• Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables and data cleansing.
• Strong experience in HR reporting, data analysis and data quality.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder-management skills.
• High attention to detail and a strong customer-service approach.

Desirable:

• Workday experience, particularly reporting, integrations or payroll.
• HR-to-payroll or systems integration experience.
• Power Query, Power BI or SQL knowledge.
• Experience of HR systems projects or data migrations.
