Job summary

Safran Actuation Systems, via Morson Group, is seeking an experienced HR Data Analyst to maintain and analyse people data across HR systems. You will produce management information, dashboards and narrative commentary to support HR processes and governance.

The role requires advanced Excel, Power Query/Power BI experience and the ability to work with large, multi-source datasets while ensuring data privacy and accuracy. Hybrid role with 3 days on site at Wolverhampton base.

Qualifications

• Strong data analysis, validation and reporting skills.
• Advanced Excel skills including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP and complex formulas.
• Experience with Power Query and/or Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and validate HR data across systems including Workday, Workforce Autotime, Selia and Real-time.
• Produce and develop HR reports, dashboards and management information.
• Support workforce reporting, headcount management, pay reviews and other critical HR processes.
• Produce the monthly business scorecard, including supporting narrative commentary.
• Work with HR Business Partners and wider teams to resolve data discrepancies and maintain accurate records.
• Support Time & Attendance processes, including Working Time Directive, overtime and clocking requirements.
• Assist with HR systems enhancements, implementation and user support.
• Maintain and document HR processes, identifying opportunities for improvement and automation.
• Support data governance, GDPR compliance and audit requirements.
• Use Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, to analyse and report on large datasets.
• Provide wider support to the HR team during periods of increased demand, including payroll-related processes.

HR Data Analyst

Location: Wolverhampton

Rate: £25.00 per hour PAYE

Contract:6 months - with potential for extension or permanent placement

Working Pattern: Hybrid - 3 days per week onsite

Morson are recruiting on behalf of Safran Actuation Systems for an experienced Data Analyst to support the HR function with the maintenance, analysis and reporting of people data. The role will involve working with HR systems and large datasets to ensure data accuracy, produce management information and support key HR processes across the business.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong understanding of GDPR, confidentiality and handling sensitive employee information.

Desirable

• Experience with HRIS or payroll systems such as Workday, SAP or SuccessFactors.
• Previous experience working within an HR environment.
• Knowledge of HR processes and the employee lifecycle.
• Experience working with Time & Attendance data, overtime and Working Time Directive requirements.
• Understanding of HR metrics, workforce trends and workforce planning.
• Experience developing reporting tools and dashboards.
• Knowledge of data structures and HR reporting principles.
