Job summary

Grant Thornton UK is seeking an experienced People Data Reporting Manager to translate HR data into actionable insights. You will partner with P&C leadership and the Data Office to produce fast, reliable reporting and governance-aligned narratives for decision-making.

You’ll manage ad-hoc requests, interpret dashboards, and drive data quality improvements while maintaining a strong governance posture across sensitive datasets.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of HR data and metrics across workforce, talent, reward and engagement.
• Ability to translate data into clear, decision-ready narratives for senior leaders.
• Experience using Power BI and adapting existing reports to new questions.
• Knowledge of data governance and HR data privacy standards.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for ad-hoc HR reporting and data requests from P&C leadership.
• Interpret and tailor Power BI dashboards to answer specific P&C questions.
• Translate data into narrative for committee and board audiences.
• Collaborate with the People Data Analyst and Data Office on data model changes.
• Escalate data quality issues and new data requirements clearly and timely.
• Ensure governance alignment with Data Office standards for sensitive data.
• Build stakeholder confidence through consistent storytelling and governance.
