Job summary

Grant Thornton in London is seeking an Associate Director focused on Data, AI and Analytics within BRS. You will lead expert engagements across data governance and AI governance, guiding governance, testing and analytics for Financial Services clients.

You will engage with board-level stakeholders, shape go-to-market propositions, and mentor junior colleagues while driving growth and ensuring regulatory compliance. Flexible/hybrid working options are available.

Qualifications

ACA qualification or equivalent internal audit/IT/AI audit qualification with substantial post-qualification FS experience.

Responsibilities

Own and lead complex client engagements in data governance, AI governance, AI model testing, and analytics internal audit in Financial Services.
Lead strategic planning conversations with senior client stakeholders and audit committees; oversee terms of reference, audit plans, and engagement frameworks.
Act as the firm’s subject matter expert in data governance, AI governance, AI model testing, and data analytics; supervise fieldwork and ensure testing evidence.
Present reports and findings to client stakeholders.
Assist with financial management of client relationships: monitor WIP, invoices, margins, budgets.
Lead business development across the Financial Services market: present at events, build networks, develop propositions, win clients.
Lead the creation and commercialization of new services in data governance, AI governance, and AI model testing; stay ahead of regulatory changes.
