Job summary

Accrofab Ltd in the East Midlands is recruiting an HR Coordinator to cover maternity leave on a 14-month fixed-term contract, up to January 2028. The role supports line managers with HR processes, recruitment, onboarding and HRIS administration.

You will ensure GDPR and employment law compliance, maintain accurate HR records, complete pre-employment checks, onboarding packs and leaver processes, and provide proactive HR support aligned with our RISE values.

Qualifications

• Up to 3 years HR experience desirable.
• Confident in building and maintaining good working relationships.
• Detail oriented and maintains process adherence with a right-first-time mentality.
• Reliable and dedicated.
• Organised with ability to manage a high workload.

Responsibilities

• Process data and administrative activities per HR processes ensuring GDPR, confidentiality and employment law obligations.
• Support Line Managers with low-level dispute resolution and investigations for disciplinaries.
• Represent the HR Team professionally and support employees and queries, aiding effective communication.
• Support HR policies, procedures, performance management and absence management.
• Complete routine HR activities daily, weekly and monthly as defined on the HR Team Sheet.
• Maintain administration of the HRIS.
• Coordinate purchasing of HR items as required.
• Draft employee communications ensuring consistent formatting.
• Complete audits with high accuracy and on-time delivery.
• Support recruitment at sites, including pre-employment checks and ATS adverts, and populate recruitment metrics.
• Support onboarding of new starters, prepare packs, coordinate probationary reviews and onboarding plans, and add new starters to HR systems.
• Process leavers, populate exit interview analysis, leaver checklists and archiving.
• Ensure administrative HR activities are accurate and timely per the HR Process Manual.
• Support the HR Business Partner with ad-hoc activities and be the first contact during their planned absence.
