Job summary

WorkNest, part of Axiom GRC, is hiring a knowledgeable HR Consultant to join a growing team. You’ll act as the go-to expert for a diverse portfolio of clients, offering practical advice across employee relations, absence management, disciplinary and grievance processes, and organisational change.

You’ll draft contracts, policies, and staff handbooks, calculate holiday and redundancy entitlements, and support investigations and hearings.

Qualifications

• Generalist HR experience in-house or consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent demonstrable experience.
• Experience drafting contracts, policies and staff handbooks.
• Confident handling employee relations cases and investigations.

Responsibilities

• Be the go-to HR expert for a portfolio of clients.
• Provide pragmatic, tailored advice on ER, absence, disciplinaries and grievances.
• Draft contracts, policies and staff handbooks; calculate entitlements.
• Conduct investigations and support hearings; deliver training when required.
• Support account management and process improvements; promote services.
