A leading firm in the manufacturing sector seeks an HR Business Partner on a part-time basis to advise on employee relations and HR initiatives. This role requires a CIPD qualification, a minimum of two years’ experience, and proficiency in HR practices. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in fostering effective team dynamics and enhancing workforce performance.
HR Business Partner (Part-Time)
Location: Gloucestershire
Salary: Up to £40,000 (pro rata, depending on experience)
Hours: Part-time
Our fantastic client is a well-established, privately owned business with a long-standing reputation forthe manufacturing and fabrication industries. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Business Partner to join their team on a part-time basis.
Act as the first point of contact for all HR matters, offering expert advice and support to managers and employees.
Provide guidance on performance management, absence, disciplinary and grievance issues.
Support the development of high-performing teams through training and leadership coaching.
Lead on talent and succession planning, resourcing, and retention strategies.
Advise on compensation, benefits, and benchmarking.
Lead HR projects and initiatives that align with business goals.
Ensure legal compliance by keeping policies and managers updated on employment legislation.
Manage all administration relating to new starters, leavers, and contractual changes.
Conduct exit interviews and support managers with feedback implementation.
Maintain accurate employee records, including training logs and ER documentation.
Support job description updates and HR data reporting.
Ensure GDPR compliance and confidentiality on all employee matters.
CIPD qualified or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years’ experience at HR Business Partner level.
Confident handling all aspects of employee relations and people development.
Knowledge of current employment law and HR best practices.
Ability to influence and support managers at all levels.
Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage a busy workload.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR systems.
Professional, trustworthy, and approachable with strong ethics.
