Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking an experienced HR Business Partner for a busy, site-based role in Doncaster. You will partner with senior leaders across multiple sites, travelling as needed to build relationships, drive engagement and deliver practical people solutions that support business performance.

You will bring strong ER experience, a proactive coaching style and a credible influence to shape people strategies, policies and culture.

Qualifications

• Strong HR Business Partner experience within a customer-centric, operational environment.
• ER expertise across performance management, disciplinaries, grievances and attendance.
• Union experience along with pay negotiations – essential.
• High energy with a genuine passion for culture, engagement and visible HR presence.
• Credible influencer, able to challenge and support senior leaders.
• Experience coaching to build management capability.
• Resilient and adaptable, comfortable working at pace.
• CIPD studying, qualified or equivalent level of professional HR knowledge.
• Clear, confident communication skills with the ability to build trust at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Support with employee satisfaction, performance, retention and effective communication at sites.
• Support the ER agenda and lead / support relationships and key processes
• Deploy the Business HR Priorities, as directed e.g. labour flexibility, payroll optimisation, T&C's standardisation.
• Provide HR support to start ups and business wins, losses and transfers.
• Ensure employee performance management (sickness, discipline, grievance) is robustly supported.
• Support managers to develop and deliver solutions for workforce planning and management including organisation design, forecasting resourcing needs, agency and identifying future talent requirements.
• Act as an advisor to managers to support compliance with HR policies.

Partnering with senior leaders, you'll provide both strategic and hands-on HR support across a workforce of 250 colleagues at sites across the North, you will need to travel to key sites where you'll build strong relationships, drive engagement, and deliver practical people solutions that support business performance. You'll bring strong employee relations experience, the ability to manage complex people matters, and a passion for coaching and developing managers.
