Here at Collins Maintenance Repair and Overhaul UK facility in Marston Green, we provide specialist technical support for Electronic Engine Control, Fuel Metering units, Actuators and Pump units widely used in the Aerospace industry.
We are currently looking for a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as a HR Business Partner to provide a world-class, proactive business partnering that stakeholders cherish.
Role Summary
The HR Business Partner role will have a deep understanding of the business, how it works and where it is going. The HRBP will collaborate with their business areas to utilise their knowledge and expertise to provide proactive and progressive people initiatives in support of the business goals. Reporting to the Head of HR, you will work closely with Line Managers and Senior Leaders to attract, retain and develop the best talent and support our leaders’ journey to embed the organisational values and drive a performance culture across the organisation.
The role requires strong interpersonal skills to ensure a positive relationship is built with your stakeholders and Union, in conjunction with a working knowledge of HR policy and processes. This role will work in a dynamic, fast paced and hands on team.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop workforce strategies that ensure future business success by translating the needs of the business into an actionable people strategy.
Partner with other functions of the HR operating model including our Centres of Excellence to provide leadership and support in the execution of HR related projects.
Drive the talent management process to identify, develop and build the talent pipeline.
Act as a trusted advisor and coach to business leaders.
Provide insight and guidance to leaders on organizational design, workforce trends and change management best practices.
Develop and implement a diverse range of initiatives to enhance employee engagement and overall employee experience.
Develop strong Union relationships, participating in monthly Union meeting and liaising with the Union, as required, on policy and process updates.
Develop and deliver development sessions to upskill employees and people leaders and embed a performance and development culture.
Develop and maintain HR metrics and analytics to support the business partner role.
Support annual compensation and benefit planning and processing.
What you need to succeed?
It is essential that candidates have:
A minimum of third level qualification in a relevant discipline e.g. HNC, HND or Degree
Experience as an HR Business Partner or HR generalist, preferably in a manufacturing environment with a demonstrated track record of success.
Experience of coaching and developing leaders.
Ability to communicate and present to all levels of the organization.
Experience of collecting and analyzing data to identify insights that drive action.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
It is desirable that candidates have:
Experience in training and development facilitation.
Experience of working within a unionised environment.
Hold or be working towards a minimum CIPD Level 5 Qualification
