About Our Client

PageGroup is supporting a successful organisation in the Rail/Transportation Sector with the appointment of an Assistant HR Business Partner to join the Workforce Development/OD function for a 12-month interim role. The role offers hybrid working, with approximately 3 days in the office and 2 days remote per week. Some travel to sites in London and Crewe will be required.

Job Description

The Assistant HR Business Partner will report to the Head of Workforce Development and support tasks such as:

  • Gathering, interpreting, analyzing, and presenting HR/OD data concisely.
  • Research and analysis to develop new strategies and action plans.
  • Staying updated on HR practices, terms and conditions, roles, pay practices, and engagement activities.
  • Maintaining HR/OD documentation, including role profiles, job families, and policies.
  • Driving continuous improvement and innovation in HR practices.
  • Organizing and facilitating engagement events, workshops, and presentations.
  • Supporting benchmarking exercises with external organizations.
The Successful Applicant

The candidate should have broad knowledge of generalist HR and/or OD, with some exposure to the listed duties. Knowledge of the Rail sector is highly beneficial.
