HR Business Partner (Hospitality Sector)

Location: Hybrid – Midlands-based (2 days WFH, 3 days travel across 9 Midlands sites)

Salary: £40,000–£45,000 per annum + car allowance

Are you a passionate HR professional with a background in hospitality? We're looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join a dynamic and people-focused organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the people strategy across multiple sites while enjoying the flexibility of hybrid working.

About the Role

As a People & Business Partner, you’ll support a portfolio of hotels across the Midlands, building strong relationships with General Managers and operational teams. You will be the go-to expert for employee relations, HR policy, engagement initiatives, recruitment strategy, and learning and development. You’ll travel to each site regularly (minimum once per month) to ensure HR best practices are consistent, impactful, and aligned with our brand values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on employee relations casework, ensuring timely and effective resolutions
  • Support managers with recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies
  • Deliver HR training sessions and identify skills gaps within teams
  • Drive employee engagement, well-being, and diversity initiatives
  • Ensure legal compliance and support continuous policy development
  • Mentor and coach managers to enhance HR capability at site level
  • Promote internal development and apprenticeship programmes

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience working in the hospitality sector is essential
  • CIPD Level 5 or above
  • Strong working knowledge of employment law
  • Proven ability to manage HR remotely across multiple sites
  • A self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A strategic thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, people-centric environment
