Role Purpose:

To provide a comprehensive HR service aligned with company values and mission, driving a high-performance culture in accordance with procedures, employment law, and other legal requirements. Implementing the right processes and practices to improve commercial performance and deliver exceptional outcomes for children and families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert HR advice, guidance, support, and coaching to managers, supporting with complex ER issues.
  • Work with teams, managers, and stakeholders to build organisation and people capability, and implement effective people strategies.
  • Deliver training to managers to support their development.
  • Develop strong relationships with stakeholders to promote HR services.
  • Enhance HR engagement and the quality of HR output.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law and develop HR policies accordingly.
  • Coordinate talent management and succession planning processes, ensuring talent development and risk mitigation.
  • Support the HR department in achieving strategic goals and KPIs.
  • Identify and deliver training needs systematically.
  • Provide quarterly HR metrics reports to Regional Operations Directors.
  • Ensure compliance with HR policies, including safer recruitment, performance conversations, and appraisals.
  • Stay informed on employment law updates and develop professionally.
  • Monitor attrition rates, analyze trends, and provide insights.
  • Develop strategies to maintain staff engagement during change periods.
  • Support the Head of HR in developing the HR service, leading projects, and covering absences.
  • Line manage 2 HR Advisors and 1 Administrator.
