Role Purpose:
To provide comprehensive HR services aligned with company values and mission, fostering a high-performance culture in compliance with procedures, employment law, and other legal requirements. Implementing effective processes and practices to improve commercial performance and deliver exceptional outcomes for children and families.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert HR advice, guidance, support, and coaching to managers, including support with complex employee relations issues.
- Collaborate with teams, managers, and stakeholders to build organisational and people capability, and to shape and implement effective people strategies and activities.
- Deliver training to managers to support their development.
- Develop strong relationships with stakeholders to promote HR services.
- Enhance HR engagement and improve the quality of HR output.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of employment law, develop HR policies in line with legislation, and stay informed of modern HR practices.
- Coordinate talent management and succession planning, ensuring talent development and risk mitigation related to staff turnover.
- Support the HR department in achieving strategic goals and KPIs.
- Identify and deliver training needs systematically.
- Provide quarterly HR metrics reports to Regional Operations Directors.
- Ensure compliance with HR policies such as safer recruitment, performance management, and appraisals.
- Stay informed of employment law updates and pursue ongoing professional development.
- Monitor attrition rates, analyse trends, and provide insights.
- Develop strategies to maintain staff engagement during periods of change, including acquisitions and restructuring.
- Assist the Head of HR in developing HR services, leading projects, and covering absences.
- Manage line supervision of 2 HR Advisors and 1 Administrator.
