Are you highly organised, detail-focused and passionate about supporting people? We're looking for an HR Business Operations Assistant to join our friendly and supportive HR team.
This fixed-term role offers an excellent opportunity to develop your HR experience, gain exposure to a wide range of HR activities, and build valuable knowledge and connections within the organisation.
This is a varied and rewarding role where you'll be the first point of contact for colleagues and managers, helping them navigate HR policies, processes and systems with confidence.
You'll play a key part in keeping everything running smoothly by maintaining accurate records within our HR systems, including Oracle Fusion, producing reports, and ensuring compliance with GDPR requirements. You'll also prepare professional correspondence and provide administrative support to HR Business Partners, including coordinating meetings, taking comprehensive notes, and producing timely and accurate records to support case management and project work.
We're looking for someone with strong administrative skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively. You'll be confident using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and experience of Canva would be an advantage. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You should hold an SCQF Level 4 qualification in Business Administration, or an equivalent qualification.
Experience within an HR environment or an understanding of HR policies and processes would be beneficial, as would familiarity with HR systems, particularly Oracle Fusion. Previous experience in local government or the wider public sector would also be advantageous.
This is a hybrid role, typically involving three days per week in the office, with flexibility to meet service requirements.
If you're looking for an opportunity to develop your skills, gain valuable HR experience and make a real difference as part of a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you.
