Job summary

General Dynamics Mission Systems UK is seeking an HR Data, Analytics & Digital Transformation Lead to modernise the HR function. The role focuses on analytics, workforce insights, automation, data governance, and AI-enabled HR solutions to drive strategic decision-making and improved service delivery.

You will partner with HR, IT and business leaders to shape the technology roadmap, oversee data quality, and implement enterprise-wide data practices in a dynamic defence and science environment.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in HR systems, people analytics, workforce reporting or digital HR transformation.
• Practical experience using Power BI or similar BI tools to develop dashboards and insights.
• Ability to translate HR data into actionable business recommendations.
• Understanding of HR processes, lifecycle data and workforce planning.

Responsibilities

• Develop HR analytics capability, identify workforce trends, risks and opportunities.
• Design and maintain dashboards and self-service reporting for leaders.
• Identify opportunities to automate HR activities and streamline processes.
• Exploration and support of responsible AI, Copilot capabilities and automation.
• Strengthen HR data governance, standards, quality controls and reporting architecture.
• Contribute to HR technology roadmap and digital product management.
• Partner with HR, IT, business leaders and vendors to advise on operating models.
