Job summary

Venn Group is recruiting an HR Advisor in Leeds for a Leeds-based organisation. This permanent role delivers a commercially focused HR service in a fast-growing company with 50+ years of expertise. You will provide an operational HR service, advise managers, handle employee relations, and work with senior leaders to drive the HR plan and improvements.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' experience managing Employee Relations cases.
• CIPD Level 3 qualified or equivalent HR experience.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Experience of TUPE and consultation processes would be advantageous.
• Proficient in HR systems and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Providing an operationally focused HR service, including advice, support, and management of employee relations cases.
• Partnering with senior leaders and key stakeholders to deliver the business strategy and HR plan.
• Managing employee relations matters including disciplinary, grievance, absence, capability, and investigation processes.
• Ensuring compliance with employment legislation, company policies, GDPR requirements, and best practice.
• Advising managers on people management issues while developing their confidence and capability in handling HR matters.
• Identifying risks and offering practical HR solutions to support operational objectives.
• Producing HR management information and supporting business improvement projects.
• Maintaining and developing HR systems and processes, including HR service desk operations.
