Optimum Recruitment Group is proud to be working for this leading, fast paced service provider on the outskirts of York, who are looking to extend their highly successful HR team and appoint a newly created HR Advisor.

You will join the business during growth as an experienced HR generalist, supporting the Head of HR and managing employee relations, policy development and onboarding across the organisation.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 qualification and up-to-date employment law knowledge.
• Proven ability to manage ER cases independently, including complex matters.
• Experience in an office-based HR generalist role within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Advising and supporting managers on employee relations matters, including performance management and disciplinaries.
• Managing absence cases and Occupational Health referrals.
• Supporting employee relations meetings, policy compliance and documentation.
• Creating and updating HR policies to ensure legal compliance.
• Delivering training sessions to build manager capability in HR matters.
• Onboarding, engagement initiatives and organisational change support.
