Job summary

Education Matters Group is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join its college HR team, providing advice and support to managers across employee relations, HR policies and workforce management.

You will manage employee relations cases, advise on employment law, support recruitment, payroll and policy development, and liaise with stakeholders while maintaining confidential records. The role involves contributing to organisational change and continuous HR improvements.

Qualifications

• Previous HR Advisor experience with strong employee relations knowledge.
• Sound understanding of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience with recruitment, payroll and HR systems.
• Excellent communication, organisation and stakeholder management skills.
• CIPD membership or progress towards Chartered status is desirable.
