Job summary

Caretech is seeking an HR Advisor to provide high‑quality HR advice on employee relations, supporting managers and leaders to achieve fair, legally compliant outcomes. You will advise on ER cases, sickness absence, suspensions, and training, whilst maintaining strong relationships with trade unions and stakeholders across the East of England region.

Ideally CIPD Level 5 (or working towards) with proven ER advisory experience; proficient in English and HR systems.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support managers in handling ER cases including sickness absence management (short- and long-term).
• Provide advice on suspension processes and arrange meetings, hearings and case discussions.
• Attend formal meetings and take accurate notes; draft outcome letters and case documents.
• Liaise with trade unions and employee representatives; maintain professional relationships.
• Deliver training and coaching on HR processes; monitor sickness absence per policy.
