Job summary

JDR Recruitment is seeking an HR Advisor for a role based in Weston-Super-Mare, Somerset. The position is a permanent contract, with the client open to a temporary-to-permanent arrangement. Typical shifts are 8:00–16:00 or 8:30–16:30, and salary is £35,020 per year.

Responsibilities include advising managers on HR issues, managing employee relations and recruitment, maintaining GDPR-compliant records, and developing HR policies while building strong stakeholder relationships.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an HR Advisor in a fast-paced environment.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent.
• Extensive recruitment experience and employee relations expertise.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR advice and support to managers on employee relations, recruitment, attendance management, policy compliance, and changes to working arrangements.
• Manage and support employee relations processes, including coaching managers and advising on disciplinary matters.
• Maintain accurate HR records, GDPR compliance, reporting, and analysing workforce trends.
• Develop, review and communicate HR policies, ensuring legal compliance.
• Build effective relationships with stakeholders and contribute to organisational improvement.
