Job summary

Ashley Kate HR & Finance is recruiting an HR Advisor in Grimsby to provide expert guidance aligned with employment law and company policies. You will support managers on employee relations matters, handle HR queries, and contribute to onboarding and lifecycle activities.

You will review policies, participate in HR projects, and help drive employee engagement within a supportive HR team.

Qualifications

• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience in a HR Advisor or generalist HR role.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
• Experience handling employee relations casework.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR advice and guidance in line with employment legislation and company policies.
• Coach managers on employee relations matters, including absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance cases.
• Handle HR queries and deliver a responsive HR service.
• Support lifecycle activities including onboarding and family leave.
• Review and update HR policies and procedures.
• Assist with HR projects and employee engagement initiatives.
