Job summary

Nicholas Associates Group Limited is collaborating with Ashley Kate HR to recruit an experienced HR Advisor in Grimsby. The role focuses on delivering a professional HR service, with emphasis on employee relations and HR best practice in a fast-paced team.

You will report to the HR Manager, providing guidance to managers, supporting onboarding and policy updates, and contributing to engagement initiatives while upholding UK employment law and company policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in a HR Advisor or generalist role.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law.
• Experience handling employee relations casework.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder skills.
• Location: Grimsby, UK

Responsibilities

• Provide HR advice in line with legislation and policies.
• Coach managers on absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance matters.
• Handle HR queries and deliver a responsive service.
• Support onboarding and family leave processes.
• Review and update HR policies and procedures.
• Assist with HR projects and employee engagement.
