Job summary

Curo is seeking an HR Advisor with a focus on employee relations in Bath. You will manage a caseload, coach managers, and work with HR Partners on complex matters. The role emphasizes policy, data, and the full employee lifecycle in a supportive, collaborative team.

The position is hybrid (3 days in the office) with a competitive salary and benefits, targeting candidates with CIPD Level 5 or equivalent and strong advisory experience in UK employment law.

Qualifications

• Experience advising and coaching managers through employee relations cases such as absence, performance, disciplinary and grievance.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and when to seek further advice.
• Experience improving HR workflows, processes or toolkits.
• Experience using HR systems to manage colleague records, cases or workflows.
• Well organised with the ability to prioritise a busy caseload and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own caseload of employee relations cases, including absence, probation, performance, disciplinaries and grievances.
• Advise and coach managers to handle everyday people matters with clear guidance and self-service tools.
• Escalate complex cases involving senior managers, potential dismissal or legal risk to HR Business Partners.
• Keep accurate case records and use trends to spot issues and improve processes.
• Help maintain HR policies, workflows and toolkits to stay compliant and clear.
• Support colleagues and managers through all stages of employment from onboarding to leaving Curo.
