Job summary

Acorn Recruitment in North Devon partners with a thriving manufacturing organisation to recruit an experienced HR Advisor. You will be a visible HR partner, championing employee engagement and leading Employee Relations activities across the business.

This hands-on generalist role offers autonomy to support managers, build an inclusive workplace, and enhance the employee experience through policy implementation, development initiatives, and effective communications.

Qualifications

• Generalist HR advisory experience essential.
• Strong employee relations skills and case management.
• Solid knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Ability to coach and influence managers.
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage Employee Relations matters and advise managers.
• Build relationships with managers and employees as HR partner.
• Coach leaders to handle people-related matters in line with policy and law.
• Drive employee engagement and contribute to a positive culture.
• Coordinate end-to-end recruitment experiences and onboarding.
• Maintain HR records, ensure confidentiality and compliance.
• Support learning and development initiatives.
• Assist with policy development and updates.
• Manage employee benefits administration and communicate initiatives.
• Create internal communications to strengthen culture and morale.
• Support employer branding and recruitment marketing.
