Isca Recruitment Limited in Exeter area is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to support a growing organisation. The role blends hands-on HR with longer-term projects to shape people practices as the business expands.

You will manage employee relations, coach managers, review policies and contribute to workforce planning, wellbeing and engagement initiatives. The role is hybrid, with 1–2 days in the office and a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Broad HR experience as an HR Advisor, People Advisor or HR Generalist.
• Strong knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
• Experience coaching managers through difficult people matters.
• Experience supporting performance management and employee engagement.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical, commercially focused HR advice throughout the employee lifecycle.
• Manage employee relations matters including performance, absence, disciplinary and grievance cases.
• Coach and support managers on performance, engagement, development and conversations.
• Review and develop HR policies, processes and guidance in line with legislation and best practice.
• Support change, wellbeing, inclusion and retention initiatives; use data to identify improvements.
• Identify ways to improve HR processes and implement scalable solutions as the business grows.
• Support workforce planning, people metrics and management development; contribute to culture projects.
