Job summary

Michael Page is seeking an HR Advisor to support a busy People team during a transition. You will provide policy guidance, assist with employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, and maintain accurate employee records.

The role offers a hybrid working pattern and a 12-month fixed-term contract, with scope for impact on HR projects. The ideal candidate has solid HR experience, strong employment law knowledge, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Experience in an HR role, preferably where policies are being established.
• Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.
• Proactive problem solving and decision making.
• Proficiency in HR systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures to employees and managers.
• Support employee relations, including handling queries and resolving workplace issues.
• Assist with recruitment processes and onboarding new staff members.
• Maintain and update employee records accurately and in a timely manner.
• Contribute to HR projects and initiatives to support business objectives.
• Advise on performance management and support managers with appraisals.
• Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies.
• Collaborate with the HR team to deliver a consistent and efficient service.
