Bridgwater & Taunton College Trust is seeking an experienced HR Advisor during a period of significant transformation. You will manage a caseload, provide pragmatic HR advice, and influence decisions to support schools through change.

Role covers employee relations, safeguarding considerations, policy development, and engagement with leaders and unions. The role is 37 hours/week, fixed-term for 1 year, with a salary up to £37,563 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Practical experience advising on employee relations cases.
• Sound knowledge of employment law.
• Confidence to constructively challenge and support managers.

Responsabilités

• Independently manage employee relations casework including disciplinary, grievance, absence and capability matters.
• Advise and coach leaders on complex and sensitive people issues.
• Support organisational change, consultation and trade union engagement.
• Advise on employment aspects of safeguarding concerns.
• Contribute to People projects, policy development and continuous improvement.
