Job summary

All Saints Marsh CofE Academy is seeking an experienced HR Adviser to join our People Team from January 2027, with flexibility on start date.

You will provide professional HR advice across our family of schools, lead employee relations casework, support attendance and wellbeing, and use workforce data to inform decisions. We welcome applicants from varied sectors and hold Silver Investors in People accreditation.

Qualifications

• HR adviser with experience supporting managers on people matters and employee relations.
• Knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
• CIPD Level 5 or equivalent, or demonstrated equivalent.
• Experience in education or similar sector.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional HR advice to leaders across schools.
• Lead employee relations casework and support positive outcomes.
• Support attendance, wellbeing, performance and workforce challenges.
• Coach leaders to build capability in managing people matters.
• Deliver training, briefings and guidance on HR policies and processes.
• Use workforce data to inform workforce planning and decisions.
• Support organisational change and trust-wide projects.
• Contribute to development and review of HR policies and resources.
• Oversee recruitment, onboarding and colleague lifecycle processes with People Assistants.
