Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking an experienced HR Advisor to provide high-quality HR and Employer Relations services. You will manage a caseload of employer relations, assist in case management, and ensure efficient operations within a well-supported HR team. This role offers a 6-month fixed contract with 37 hours per week, and is ideally suited for an individual with credible experience and a CIPD qualification.

Job description

Were seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join a busy team providing HR & Employer Relations advice and support to external organisations.
As an HR Advisor you will be :

* Providing an efficient, well-organised and responsive HR service with guidance and support for employer relations cases.
* You will be a positive ambassador for the HR team and play a key role in ensuring that we deliver a high-quality HR service.
* In order to meet customer demand, you will spend approximately 2 days of your time on the HR Helpdesk handling calls and emails and will often be the first point of contact for managers on a range of employer relations casework.
* For the other 3 days, you will handle your own case load of ER cases including sickness, absence, ill health, retirement, redeployment and other ER cases (circa 18-20 at a time).
* You will work in collaboration with Senior HR Advisors.

Candidates
We are seeking an experienced HR Advisor with some exposure to employer relations casework such as absence management, sickness, ideally within high-volume environments.

* Ideally, a CIPD Level 5 qualified or relevant level of experience
* Knowledge and experience of employment law
* You must be an excellent team player who can thrive working in an experienced, friendly and supportive team which develops and values its staff.
* You will be client-focused with great communication and organisational skills.
* You will provide operational, day-to-day advice and guidance on employee terms and conditions and the range of HR policies and procedures.

Offer

* 6-month fixed contract
* 1 day minimum per week (ideally 2days) in Winchester near the train station
* 9-5 general hours/ 9-4.30 on Friday
* 37 hours per week
* 25-day holiday
