Job description

Job Title: HR Advisor

Sue Ross Recruitment is pleased to be working alongside their client based in Sheffield, who is looking for an HR Advisor to join their team on a 3-month fixed-term contract. This is a full-time role (37 hours per week) with hybrid working arrangements: 3 days in the office and 2 days from home. The position is due to start immediately.

Requirements: Prior experience within the Public Sector is a MUST for this role, as is being qualified to a minimum of CIPD Level 5.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Providing comprehensive HR support to senior leaders
  2. Supporting managers with all aspects of people management and policy
  3. Assisting the HR Manager with tasks such as organisation redesigns, policy development, and pay reviews
  4. Setting up and supporting performance management schemes
  5. Liaising with line managers to develop individual development plans
  6. Performing general administrative duties

The ideal candidate will have prior experience at an HR Advisor level, be capable of working effectively in a fast-paced environment, and possess an up-to-date understanding of current employment legislation and case law.
