A global manufacturing organisation located in Middlesbrough is seeking an HR Advisor (HR Generalist) to join their HR team on a permanent basis. The role offers a hybrid working model, with full-time on-site presence required for the first month.

The successful candidate will report to the Senior HR Business Partner, overseeing daily HR operations and supporting ad hoc projects. This is a varied role providing exposure to a broad range of HR activities.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Work closely with the Senior HR Business Partner to provide operational HR support across the site.
  2. Manage the full employment lifecycle.
  3. Oversee Employee Relations case management.
  4. Handle day-to-day HR issues.
  5. Support the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  6. Provide advice, guidance, and coaching to managers on HR issues.
  7. Produce HR KPIs and management reports on absence, disciplinary actions, remuneration, and recruitment.
  8. Provide training to managers on absence management.
  9. Support key HR projects.
What you'll need to succeed:
  • Ability to proactively build and maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders.
  • CIPD qualification or working towards it, with relevant experience as an HR Advisor.
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong Employee Relations experience.
  • Up-to-date Employment Law knowledge.
