Hays HR is delighted to be recruiting exclusively for a growing organisation located 15 minutes from Darlington, straight down the A1. This is a permanent position reporting to the Managing Director.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an HR Advisor seeking a standalone position overseeing daily HR operations and supporting directors across multiple sites.

Responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing daily HR operations
• Supporting onboarding and induction processes
• Implementing policies and procedures from a group perspective (TUPE IN)
• Monitoring absence management
• Providing support and guidance to line managers
• Managing employee relations casework, advising on disciplinary, grievance, performance, and capability issues
• Payroll administration

What you'll need to succeed:

• Strong knowledge of employment legislation
• Good communication skills
• Previous experience in an HR environment
• Experience working in a fast-paced industry
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or working towards it
• Knowledge of HR best practices
• Experience operating HR and payroll systems
• Enthusiastic and engaging HR professional
