Portfolio HR & Reward is supporting an inclusive public sector organisation and seeks a HR Advisor in Derby on a temporary basis until next July. The role offers hybrid working following probation and an hourly rate of £18-£21 per hour, plus holiday pay.

The successful candidate will deliver a business partnering approach, advise on pay and grading strategy, and provide guidance in formal hearings in line with employment law. CIPD Level 5 or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience providing professional advice and support within a large organisation, ideally also with unions and stakeholders
• Strong employment law knowledge
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or qualified through experience

Portfolio HR & Reward are supporting an inclusive public sector organisation that are currently seeking a HR Advisor join them on a Temporary basis until next July.

This role will be based in Derby, and offers hybrid working following probation.

The successful candidate will receive an hourly rate between £18 – £21 per hour, plus holiday pay.

As a successful HR Advisor, you will be responsible for;

• Deliver a business partnering approach to professional advice, guidance and coaching to managers around policy
• Support with grading evaluation and moderation of current pay and grading strategy
• Advise advice in formal hearings and meetings in line with employment law

The ideal HR Advisor will have experience in the following;

• Providing professional advice and support within a large organisation, ideally also with unions and stakeholders
• Strong employment law knowledge
• CIPD Level 5 qualification or qualified through experience
