Job summary

Barker Ross is recruiting an HR Advisor to support a multinational organisation from its Chorley office. You will partner with senior leaders, influence workplace culture, and drive HR initiatives across multiple sites.

Based in Chorley with travel to other sites, you will handle employee relations, investigations, onboarding, and people initiatives to fuel engagement and growth. CIPD Level 5 is valued; degree holders stand out.

What You'll Be Doing

Working closely with the HR Business Partner and senior leadership teams, you will:

• Act as a trusted advisor to managers, providing hands-on, pragmatic HR support across multiple sites
• Play a key role in employee relations, leading investigations and guiding managers through complex cases with confidence and integrity
• Ensure a fair, consistent, and compliant approach to people management aligned with best practice and company values
• Support the delivery of people initiatives that drive engagement, performance, and organisational growth
• Partner with hiring managers to attract top talent
• Coach managers on effective onboarding and induction, setting teams up for long-term success
