ENB Recruitment and Training Limited is seeking a proactive HR Administrator to join the Northampton HR team on a full-time, permanent basis. You will support the full employee lifecycle, maintain accuracy of personnel records, and assist with onboarding, contracts, and payroll data.

Day-to-day you will manage HR admin duties, ensure GDPR compliance, and respond to HR inquiries, all while delivering a high standard of service to managers and staff in a busy environment.

Qualifications

  • Experience in HR administration or HR assistant role.
  • CIPD Level 3 (or currently working towards) is advantageous.
  • Strong admin and organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience handling confidential information and GDPR compliance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support with administrative duties across the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employment changes and leavers.
  • Maintain employee records and HR systems, ensuring information is accurate and compliant with GDPR requirements.
  • Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, amendments, and other HR documentation in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate onboarding for new starters, ensuring right-to-work checks are completed.
  • Assist payroll by collating and submitting employee data for starters, leavers, and changes.
  • Manage HR inbox enquiries and escalate where needed.
  • Monitor absence and annual leave records and other employee data.
  • Assist with learning and development administration and training bookings.

HR Administrator

Northampton

£30k per annum

Monday-Friday 08:30-17:30

ENB are supporting a client in Northampton who are looking for a HR Administrator to join their HR team on a full time, permanent basis. Within this role, you will provide HR administration support to the wider HR team, ensuring employee records, HR processes, and people related documentation are maintained to a high standard while delivering an excellent service to managers and employees across the business.

Day to day you will:

  • Support with administrative duties across the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employment changes and leavers.
  • Maintain employee records and HR systems, ensuring all information is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with GDPR requirements.
  • Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, amendments, and other HR documentation in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate the onboarding process for new starters, ensuring all required documentation and right-to-work checks are completed.
  • Support the payroll process by collating and submitting employee data, including starters, leavers, and contractual changes.
  • Manage HR inbox enquiries, responding to routine queries and escalating where appropriate.
  • Monitor and maintain absence records, annual leave records, and other employee data.
  • Assist with the administration of learning and development activities, maintaining training records and booking courses where required.

What experience will you need?

  • Prior experience in an HR Administration or HR Assistant
  • A CIPD Level 3 qualification (or currently working towards) would be advantageous.
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience maintaining confidential employee information and handling sensitive data appropriately.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships at all levels.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise workload effectively in a busy environment.
  • A proactive and flexible approach, with a willingness to support the wider HR team.
  • An understanding of HR processes and employment legislation would be beneficial.
