Job summary

Glue Resourcing are supporting a Northampton-based client seeking an HR Advisor to join the team on a full-time basis. The role offers a salary of £30k-£36k DOE plus excellent benefits.

You will provide HR advice to managers and staff, support employee relations, coordinate payroll, maintain records, manage onboarding and assist with training across the business.

A CIPD Level 3 qualification (or equivalent HR experience) and solid knowledge of UK employment law are preferred.

Qualifications

  • Provides HR advice, support and guidance to managers and employees in line with policies and employment legislation.
  • Supports ER activities: absence management, disciplinary, grievance, performance and wellbeing cases.
  • Co-ordinates payroll processes and responds to payroll-related queries.
  • Maintains employee records and HR administration with accurate, secure documentation.
  • Manages onboarding for new starters and ensures a positive experience from day one.
  • Supports training records and coordinates learning and development activities across the business.
  • Works independently, takes ownership of HR processes and supports team objectives.

Glue Resourcing are supporting one of our Northampton based clients who are looking for an additional HR Advisor to join their team on a full-time basis.


The salary range is based on experience, and applications are open to those with a CIPD Level 3 or a graduate looking for their first step into a HR office, this could be a great opportunity for that. This role will support the HR Manager and the wider HR team in developing and administrating a high level or HR support across the company.


Day to day, you will be:



  • Providing HR advice, support and guidance to managers and employees, supporting a wide range of people matters in line with company policies and employment legislation.

  • Supporting ER activities, including absence management, disciplinary, grievance, performance and wellbeing cases

  • Coordinating payroll processes, collating and submitting accurate information within agreed deadlines and responding to payroll related queries where required.

  • Maintaining employee records and HR administration, ensuring all documentation is accurate, secure and compliant

  • Managing the onboarding process for new starters, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and providing a positive employee experience from day one.

  • Managing training records and support the coordination, delivery, and evaluation of learning and development activities across the business.

  • Working independently, taking ownership of key HR processes while contributing to the success of the wider HR team and supporting business objectives.


To be considered for this opening, you will need to have as a minimum



  • A CIPD Level 3 qualification (or equivalent HR experience gained within a generalist HR environment).

  • A resilient and proactive nature, with the ability to manage competing priorities and navigate challenging situations effectively.

  • The confidence to work independently, while also collaborating effectively as part of a wider team.

  • A sound understanding of UK employment legislation and its practical application in the workplace.
