Job description

Noriker Power is a leading renewable energy integrator and developer specialising in battery storage projects that support the UK and Ireland's power grids. We’re looking for motivated, enthusiastic individuals with a passion for sustainability and innovation. The ideal candidate seeks professional accomplishment and is committed to providing a highly confidential, prompt, accurate, and efficient service to staff and the Board.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Handle all HR and payroll administration
  2. Set up, maintain, and update HR systems with suitable Cloud services
  3. Administer and manage the rota system
  4. Maintain accurate HR records, well-organised filing systems, and a high standard of correspondence
  5. Assist in recruitment processes, working closely with line managers
  6. Manage and update the employee handbook in line with changes in UK law
  7. Enhance and refine operational HR processes, and conduct investigations and disciplinary actions as necessary
  8. Responsible for the administration of starters and leavers, along with other ad hoc office administrative tasks
  9. Assist in payroll process and administration, ensuring compliance across the organisation
  10. Develop and implement payroll policies and procedures, streamlining processes to improve efficiency in payroll administration
  11. Assist in payroll audits and reconciliation to identify and correct discrepancies, maintaining payroll and record accuracy
Requirements:
  1. Degree qualified
  2. Administration and payroll experience, preferably within a technology environment
  3. Keen attention to detail and strong sense of responsibility
  4. Self-motivated with a positive work ethic, exceptional organisational and time management abilities
  5. Must be able to commute to Cheltenham, as this role is fully office-based
  6. Eligible to work permanently in the UK
