Job summary

DP World are recruiting a HR Assistant to join our growing facility in Bicester. The HR Assistant will provide professional support to the People function including coordinating and improving HR administrative systems, processes and associated documentation as well as providing a departmental interface with internal and external customers.

Qualifications

• Previous HR administration experience is essential.
• Experience with HR databases and management information reporting is desirable.
• GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English.
• CIPD Level 3 or working towards is desirable.
• Valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that new starters, changes and leavers processes are followed and coordinated with Payroll and Finance.
• Assist line managers with the new starter induction and coordinate group inductions with QEHS when required.
• Provide HR support to site management and employees.
• Maintain HR processes in line with company policy and legislative requirements.
• Maintain absence data, return-to-work trackers and run regular reports.
• Scan and maintain personnel files in accordance with GDPR.
• Support basic contractual changes and minute taking in ER cases.
• Arrange meetings related to sickness absence and manage related documentation.
• Produce monthly employee information reports for corporate HQ.
• Support site employee engagement and CSR activities.
