Job summary

Zenith are recruiting an experienced HR Officer to support the HR Manager and ensure HR operations align with group policies and local legal requirements. You will handle recruitment, onboarding, payroll liaison and reporting at the Banbury site.

You will contribute to policy development, staff training, and disciplinary processes, while maintaining HR records and supporting health and safety initiatives.

Qualifications

• The candidate is a graduate with CIPD in progress or completed.
• Minimum 3 years of generalist HR experience, ideally in manufacturing.
• Experience with recruitment, onboarding, payroll and attendance systems.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee recruitment for site roles up to management level.
• Manage onboarding, contracts and induction for new staff.
• Handle payroll and timesheet processes at site level.
• Advise line management on discipline and grievances.
• Develop and maintain HR policies and site records.
• Coordinate training plans and internal HR courses.
• Produce regular reports on headcount, absence and turnover.
• Support Health & Safety inductions and site council coordination.
