Job summary

DP World Coventry is seeking an Assistant HR Business Partner to support the people strategy across corporate and operational functions. You will provide professional HR guidance, help manage employee relations, and contribute to a high-performing workplace culture while developing towards an HR Business Partner role.

Regular travel across the UK is expected as you partner with managers, influence decisions, and collaborate with the European HR community to drive talent, change and engagement.

Qualifications

• CIPD qualification or equivalent HR experience.
• Experience as HR Advisor or HR Generalist.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations and UK employment law.
• Experience partnering with managers and delivering practical HR solutions.
• Exposure to change, talent management, and employee engagement.
• Ability to interpret HR data and provide insights.
• Strong stakeholder management and credibility.
• Proactive, collaborative, and cross-functional.

Responsibilities

• Partner with managers to deliver HR initiatives aligned to business goals.
• Provide guidance on employee relations matters including disciplinary and performance cases.
• Support talent, succession, and workforce planning activities.
• Coach managers on people-related matters and HR best practices.
• Assist with organisational change projects and business transformation.
• Analyze and report people data to support decision-making.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and drive positive culture.
• Collaborate with HR team to implement policies and continuous improvement.
