Morgan Hunt is recruiting a Housing and Support Officer in Hanwell to deliver person-centered support within a regulated supported housing setting. The role focuses on enabling residents to sustain tenancies, develop independent living skills and improve wellbeing.

You will join a values-driven team that collaborates with local authorities, health services and benefits advisors to provide practical and emotional support, safeguarding, and tenancy-related guidance.

Formación

• GCSEs in English and Maths desirable.
• Qualifications in housing, social care or supported housing preferred.
• Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
• Mandatory safeguarding and health & safety training required by employer.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver one-to-one and group support to residents to maintain tenancies and develop independent living skills.
• Create, review and maintain individual support plans and accurate case records.
• Conduct welfare checks, risk assessments and safeguarding referrals in line with policy.
• Signpost and liaise with external agencies including local authorities, health services and benefits advisors.
• Assist residents with budgeting, tenancy agreements, housing-related paperwork and accessing community resources.
• Respond to incidents and crises, applying de-escalation techniques and following incident reporting procedures.
• Contribute to service improvement, team meetings and handovers.
• Work rota patterns including some evening and weekend shifts as required to meet service needs.
