Serco Limited, on behalf of the Home Office, seeks a Housing Officer in AASC Liverpool to deliver essential support services, conduct monthly property inspections, and provide welfare guidance to asylum-seeking service users. The role includes on-call duties, inductions, security and safety responsibilities, and coordinating with IA operations to meet contractual standards.

The ideal candidate will have strong service experience, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, plus IT literacy

Formación

• Experience in a service environment with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work in a property-related environment with integrity.
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver core service user support per the AASC contract.
• Induct new service users to the initial accommodation area.
• Respond to requests via AIRE Services and manage incidents.
• Complete monthly inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Maintain property standards and safety in accordance with procedures.
• Assist with day-to-day IA operations and prerequisites for dispersal.
• Ensure welfare checks and safeguarding in line with policies.
