Job summary

Serco is hiring a Housing Officer to support the AASC contract across Stoke, Crewe, Newcastle under Lyne, Stafford and Market Drayton. The role involves managing property standards, welfare support, and monthly inspections within the IA, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in a service environment with strong communication skills.
• Knowledge/experience within a property related environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• IT literate, MS Word, Excel etc.

Responsibilities

• Deliver core Service User support under the contract.
• Induct new Service Users to IA and explain services, property standards, evacuation, and complaints procedures.
• Respond to requests for assistance via AIRE Services.
• Manage incidents raised by AIRE Services.
• Provide accurate reporting on visits, inspections, repairs, and incidents.
• Complete monthly IA inspections and highlight maintenance needs.
• Maintain property standards and safety compliance.
• Safeguard Service Users and address urgent medical needs and anti-social behaviour.
