Zusammenfassung

Rhema Social Impact is seeking a Housing Sustainment Officer to manage a caseload across an allocated portfolio and work with residents to sustain their homes. You will develop Personal Development Plans, monitor progress and coordinate support from care providers as needed.

This full-time permanent role requires travel across an allocated patch, strong communication, and a commitment to residents’ safety, dignity and independence.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in housing management, tenancy management or neighbourhood services.
• Experience managing a caseload or portfolio and seeing cases through to resolution.
• Experience working with residents facing homelessness or other barriers to sustaining a home.
• Experience dealing with rent arrears, tenancy breaches, anti-social behaviour and neighbour disputes.
• Understanding of Housing Benefit and Universal Credit housing costs.

Aufgaben

• Manage an allocated caseload across an allocated portfolio and maintain regular contact with residents.
• Lead Personal Development Plans with residents and review progress.
• Collaborate with care or support providers while keeping housing and support roles distinct.
• Support residents to develop practical skills for tenancy independence (rent, bills, home upkeep).
• Identify repairs, safety concerns and coordinate timely service delivery.
